Yeah, yeah. Projects have been interrupted lately by … a baby who refuses to sleep! And that means I’m not sleeping. And when I’m not sleeping, I don’t get to sew because my hands are holding a baby who refuses to sleep!

Finishing Up the Curtains
As I mentioned before, Friday was a snow day, so I had the chance to finish the curtains.
It was a typical project, with the following:
Running out of thread in the bobbin, right as I was close to finishing one long seam
Refilled bobbin (to finish the last 3 inches of that seam) and started to run [...]

I must have been half asleep when I measured the windows. After I bought the fabric, I realized I forgot to take into account the need for extra fabric for a hem. Luckily, I had some cute fabric that I could sew to the ends.

I stopped into the fabric store today, while running to the grocery store. They are in the same shopping center, and it is so tempting each time I pull in.
I walked in, and the store often has sample clothes made. Oh my, there was a cute blue dress! So I had to get the pattern.
