Moving On
With the Halloween costume completed, it’s time to move on to more projects. Up first? The Expandable Pack It In Tote from U-Handblog. I’m making it out of black canvas and a print from Patty Young’s Andalucia designs.
I have ordered samples of linen – I want some buttery orange/yellow curtains for the bedroom now.

Where did my little boy go? I can’t find him, but I found Winnie the Pooh playing with toys in my basement!
Just have to finish up the red shirt …

The Other Reason I Haven’t Sewn Recently
You know, besides all the illness. I re-painted our bedroom. I used Glidden’s Gentle Tide, a blue/green/gray that looks much better than the photos can possible show. See how sometimes it looks blue and sometimes green. I love it!
So now I have some new curtains to make, and eventually some new bedding.
More Sickness, So Less Sewing
Pneumonia here … but I’ll be back to working on that costume soon. It’s rough … everyone everywhere seems to be sick this week.
