Purse In Progress

I was a little distracted by … Halloween … but I’m getting back on track. Here is a quick glimpse of the fabric I’m using for my purse.

I got so much sewing done on Friday, but ran into some trouble with the drawstring area. I didn’t have any eyelets, so I thought I’d just make some buttonholes instead. Hmm .. nope … I had some trouble with all the layers and the buttonhole stitch. Oh well – eyelets will look better anyway – so off I went to the store on Saturday.
