Finally – Completed Black Purse

I finally got a chance to finish sewing this purse this weekend.  It is black canvas on the outside, lined with a design from Patty Young’s Andalucia series.

It was a little tricky to make the drawstrings, but I attribute that partly to user error. When I start and stop a project too many times, I make more mistakes.

This is a very roomy purse – it opens up to an incredible size when you untie the sides.  I added a different type of pocket to the inside, and I made the straps black instead of the fabric for the lining.  Those are the only changes I made to the pattern.
