A Circle Skirt

Every little girl needs a twirly skirt. I had some extra fabric left over from years ago – a project that never happened. I decided to make a circle skirt for my son’s friend, our neighbor.

In this picture, the hem is unfinished – I thought I would give them the chance to pick out some fun trim for the bottom.
I used the directions in the book Sew What! Skirts. Very simple to make. I changed the pattern in the book and made a basic elastic waist instead of a standard fitted waistband.

Cute! I’ll add you link into the widget. I think I can do that? I’m in charge after all, right?

Oh, my first thought was to add white pom poms as the trim!
