10 reasons why I am a horrible seamstress/sewer

- I don’t make muslins.
- I don’t trace my patterns (I know!! I plan on changing, with my next purchased pattern.)
- I don’t tissue fit.
- If I can’t find my marking pencils, sometimes I use a pen. I know, I’m awful.
- I don’t oil my machine enough.
- Sometimes I sew over pins. And I put them in my mouth.
- My scissors are in desperate need of sharpening.
- My cutting table is covered in who-knows-what so I use the floor instead.
- I can’t ever remember the type of needle to use for different fabrics, and I always have to look it up. Or just go with what’s in my machine at the time.
- I have 15 unfinished projects, partially cut out or sewn, on my sewing table right now, and I’m not sure why I can’t manage to finish them.
