Me
I’m Jen, and I live outside of Baltimore.
I love fabric and making things, but hate threading my sewing machine or re-threading the bobbin. I find the prep of a project a little tedious, but I know it makes it all worthwhile when the design comes together in the end.
I am completely self-taught, and my first sewing project was a pair of Vogue Average Level pants, when I was 15.
Since then, I haven’t been quite as ambitious (except for sewing my wedding dress).
One day I will have a studio, instead of the corner of a room. Yay, I have a studio now, in our third bedroom!
David and Daisy
There was a little boy, who was yet to be born. Every time his mama talked to her cat, Daisy, the baby would kick and kick. After he was born, Daisy became his kitty-mama, and would sit by him and “eep” if he cried. When David was old enough to first take notice of Daisy, he took one look at her, grinned and laughed. He loves her so much, and has been chasing her around ever since.
